A Note from Heather
Can you believe that just 5 days after going off of bed rest that I
would have our sweet baby? I had no idea that I would have the baby
that quick. I thought for sure I would end up inducing as that is what
happened with my first baby. I was sititng at the studio thinking
how bad my back hurt and how much longer I had before meeting our baby
girl. How was I going to make it? I called my doctor's office
hoping he could tell me something that I could try to ease the back
pain that I was experiencing. He sent me to Labor and Delivery
and said, that I might be in labor. Yes, you guessed right, I was truly
in labor!
Savannah was 4 weeks and two days early, so she had a bit of trouble
breathing when she came out. Therefore, she spent some time in the
NICU. It was so very hard to have her in there. It was also very
traumatic, but no where near as traumatic as the experience that some
parents go through with weeks of a hospital stay. A five day stay in
the NICU for Savannah seemed like forever to me!
Savannah is now four weeks & one day old, and she is nestled on my
chest in my Hotsling, (thank you Christa for recommending). Currently,
I am back at work and the best part is that I get to bring her with me.
For the most part, I have recovered really well and I am very blessed
and grateful for all the good things in my life.
I absolutely LOVE being a photographer. I had a ball at
Savannah's newborn session. Be sure and check out some of her images in
this newsletter. Since coming back to work, we have added two
really cool limited editions. One is the LIttle Mermaid Limited
Edition, which my oldest daughter went ga-ga over. Our set for this
session, creates an impression of actually being under the sea and it
is fabulous! As we are already half full for this session, I KNOW that
it will be a SELL OUT, so check your calendar for July 25th. We also
added a really beautiful Limited Edition called The Gilded Frame.
This LE is great for a more beautiful, formal portrait. It
would be great for a family, sibilings or individuals and it is on
Saturday, August the 8th.
I have been virtually shopping for coordinating family outfits, so you
will have to check that out. Also, we need your input with
next year's limited edtion sessions! Do you have an idea that would
spark the interest of many? Finally, we have added a new option for the
baby b plan clients, be sure and check out the difference between a
newborn and a 3 month old baby b session.

Your Ideas Can Make You a Winner
Limited Editions have been a big hit
with our clients. We will be announcing the 2010 Limited Editions at
the end of this year. We would love to hear your ideas for a set
and concept for Limited Editions. If we use your Limited Edition
Idea we will give you a free session for that Limited Edition and a
FREE 8x10. There is no limit to how many free sessions you can
win. You will get a free session for every idea that we use.

A Little Mermaid Special Limited Edition
For the Lilttle Mermaid session, we
have costumes that will fit a baby all the way up to an adult/teenager.
This session is for babies 3 months and older as well for children and
teenagers that would understand sitting still with a mermaid tail on.
Join us on Saturday, July 25th.
The session fee is $35, which includes a ten minute
session and ONE person. You can add a make-up & hair upgrade for
$15 and your little girl will get rhinestones and glitter make-up. We
will also do her hair with the fabulous Mermaid Hair. We have blond and
brunette hair. (she gets to keep the rhinestones, but we will need the
hair for all the other mermaids.)

What to Wear? Selections

of clothes look good together for famly shots. So I did a little
virtual shopping and came up and pulled together several looks.

Our Brand NEW Baby Savannah
This is one of my favs as I love
peacock feathers and I think I will enlarge this one big as an art
piece! :)
Her name is Savannah Jewel. I was trying to represent that in
this image. :)
Another image that I want LARGE as an art piece. This makes my
heart happy!
She Loves to look at us. Her eyes are getting lighter every day.
So we will see what she ends up as. :)
Yes, she is really hanging in this tree. But Ben, is right there ready
to catch her. This was the hardest image to shoot, but I am happy
we got it. :)
I love her sweet face in this one. :)
The difference of 3 months
Many of our clients are on the Baby B
Plan. It used to be if you did a newborn session, you would not
come back till six months for their next session. I wanted to
remind you that you can add a session to your plan at any time for only
$39. So if you want to do a 3 month or 9 month session you can
easily add it. Check out Miss Lily this was at her newborn session and
then her three month. She has changed so much! If this is

A Client's Home
I love going to my client's homes and
seeing how they display my work. I had the opportunity to visit a
great client's home and see her beautiful display. She loves the
look of gallery wraps and has this great display in her hallway.
She said she was inspired by the studio to paint inexpensive
frames in bright colors to match her some of her proofs. I love
how she has the proofs and the wall portrait's displayed. Enjoy!
